Meet the Blackboard Team

Dave’s career has been defined by helping people and organizations develop and thrive. Dave is passionate about education and has spent the past 10 years working with institutions aligning technology solutions to strategy to ensure institutional effectiveness and student success. Prior to his role as head of consulting, Dave was Vice President of Sales for the Western United States and Canada.

Coleman is responsible for the consulting services in North America. She has over 19 years of experience in online learning and Higher Education administration. Coleman has her BS from East Carolina University and MS in Instructional Technology from National University. Prior to Blackboard, she held leadership positions at National University, ITT Tech and eCollege.

With more than 25 years of teaching and learning experience, Amanda is responsible for managing a team of instructional designers and training consultants who develop, maintain, and deliver educational services to Blackboard clients. Under Amanda’s leadership, the team has created an innovative training services portfolio for Blackboard Learn and Collaborate products.

As a member of the Blackboard Global Consulting team, I assist to provide instructional, assessment and pedagogical connections between products and solutions, including but not limited to eLearning and Competency-based Education. My primary role is to provide expertise and support to clients embracing tomorrow’s course design and development projects. This support is relied heavily within the CBE landscape as the client transitions into providing learner-driven environments.

Dr. Agneberg provides world-class training and consulting to a large and diverse client base and has successfully provided training and implementation expertise to clients since 2006. He has been a worldwide trainer, teacher, speaker and consultant for over 30 years and has taught Information Systems at various schools and universities throughout the U.S. for 13+ years.

Laura brings over 20 years of higher education experience. She assists clients with Academic Technology Planning for Blackboard products to ensure a smooth adoption with maximum impact on the educational outcomes. She also assists clients with the Outcomes product, helping them implement in the way that brings the most benefit to their unique needs.

As a Senior Consulting Specialist for the Implementation Team, my primary role is to help clients meet their educational goals, particularly their institutional and program level assessment initiatives through planning, consultation, and implementation of Blackboard’s Assessment & Accreditation software.

Louise is the head of consulting for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Louise specializes in supporting clients to develop, plan and implement large-scale change, particularly around student retention and throughput, academic adoption of technology, online program, and online assessment and feedback. Prior to joining Blackboard, Louise held leadership roles at both Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield relating to learning technology and to wider learning and teaching strategy.

Basel bring over 15 years of project management. He spends the majority of his time as a project manager for institutions in the Middle East. Prior to Blackboard, he worked as Technical Specialist, Technical Lead, Senior and Junior Developer, all in Microsoft .NET technology.

Nicole is the head of consulting for the ANZ and Asia/Pacific markets. Nicole worked with Universities on business intelligence and dimensional data warehousing implementations. Her work includes identifying requirements and metrics for software and/or reporting, security model and deployment preparation, user training, development of reports and dashboards and working with institutions on pedagogical improvements based on learning analytics.

As a Strategic Educational Consultant, Caroline brings high levels of expertise and experience to institutions facing complex pedagogical and technological change. Based in Brisbane, Australia, Caroline works with institutions throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia to achieve their educational vision and goals.

Régis, head of consulting for Latin America and Caribbean, is responsible for sales and delivery in the region. He has been working with solutions for the education segment for over 18 years for different software and consulting providers in sales, delivery, and management. Régis earned an Academic Master’s Degree in Business Strategy with a focus on Services and combined with his previous experience in student information systems and customer relationship management, he can lead various processes with our customers.

Based in Rio de Janeiro, Eloisa brings more than 15 years of experience in the scientific information industry, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and their implementation in Latin American universities. She’s provided input and recommendations to key associations in Latin America, impacting policy development and strategy for Higher Education. Her areas of expertise include metrics, analytics and assessment, scientific databases and e-content.
