Reframing the Future of Assessment: Evidence, Practice, and Credibility

Last year, we released The Future of Assessment: A Blueprint for Learner Evaluation in an AI World, which details five steps institutions can take immediately to modernize their pedagogical approach. We complemented this paper with a series of roundtable discussions with leaders from around the globe, moving the conversation from principles into practice, and surfacing valuable insights on how institutions are evolving assessment to meet the changing needs of students and the workforce.

This paper presents these insights in combination with academic research on assessment best practices, outlining a robust direction for digital assessment ecosystems in the future.
