Eddie Obeng

Eddie Obeng

Eddie Obeng is a British educator and author. He is a Professor at the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Henley Business School and the Founder of Pentacle (The Virtual Business School) and QUBE, the world’s best 3D learning environment. Obeng is notable as a pioneer in the field of Project Management and for developing and championing the concept of 'New World Management' as a response to the rapidly accelerating pace of change. He has been described variously as "a leading revolutionary" and "an agent provocateur" by the Financial Times, and by Abbey National as their "secret weapon".

Alistair McNaught

Alistair McNaught

Alistair's key skill is humanising technology and accessibility. He has a longstanding passion for making students independent, teachers creative and organisations digitally confident. He is a founder member of both the Digital Accessibility Working Group and the Publishers Association Accessibility Action Group, representing the needs of disabled students to the publishing industry. He has supported a wide range of higher and further education organisations, through training, mentoring and consultancy. Alistair co-created and delivered a wealth of webinars and resources for the Education and Training Foundation, the FutureTeacher project and AHEAD Ireland, as well as creating sector-wide guidance for the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Alistair often works in partnership with AbilityNet, combining their technical expertise with his intimate knowledge of student journeys in dozens of universities and colleges. We jointly deliver support and training on Accessibility Maturity at course level and institutional level.  He is also an ASPIRE associate, supporting textBox Digital in helping publishers and library suppliers provide more accessible content.

Stephen Heppell

Stephen Heppell

Professor Stephen Heppell has been a professor since the 1980s, he has an unrivalled track record of success and a string of huge projects in both Learning and Technology. He is credited with being the person who put the C into ICT. His support for better Learning is sought by everyone from governments and major corporations, through schools and universities, to elite sports – lately England Rugby, and Team GB’s elite Olympic coaches. Everyone needs better learning.

A pioneer of multimedia and CD-ROM before the Internet, post-internet Professor Heppell created and led what was the Guinness Book of Record’s largest internet learning project, years before Google, Facebook et al.
