What is a Student Access Code? It is a series of letters and/or numbers that gives students permission to enter an online course, called an e-Pack, which is selected by an instructor. The Access Code only needs to be entered once. Student Access Codes are often confused with Global IDs or Blackboard IDs, but they are not the same. • Have you purchased a Student Access Code? Student Access Codes must be purchased prior to use.

Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. If you see an Authorization failed message, make sure you are entering the user name and password correctly. Also be sure not to enter your 15 or 16 digit Access Code until you are asked for it. An Access Code is not the same as a user ID, global ID, Blackboard ID, or password.
