Blackboard is delighted to announce our new client advisory community, the Blackboard Idea Exchange™ (BIE). Are you looking to partner with Blackboard more closely? Do you have strong opinions and great ideas about your academic online infrastructure? Are you eager to share your ideas with us?
What Is It?
The BIE is built on the successful history and value of the Client Advisory Boards, our influential client advisory program. The BIE will represent the voice of the client community, providing opportunities for members to interact with Blackboard in a variety of ways.
Related in spirit and practice to Blackboard’s support of communities, the BIE can be found on Blackboard Connections, our central hub for building communities of practice.
Why Should I Join?
- Share your knowledge on issues as diverse as company strategy, education trends and evolving standards.
- Influence early product direction through client surveys on product questions as well as discussions on timely subjects, new features or market-based feedback (i.e. community colleges).
- Collaborate on product analysis and design through preliminary feature reviews, access to early builds on a central server, and interactions with product development project leaders.
- Get early access to Blackboard products by participating in beta (production) testing of new product releases with opportunities for structured feedback on the product and special access to product development engineers.
