Best of BbWorld: Adapt!- Modifying Your Online Curriculum to Meet Your Students' Needs is as Easy as 1, 2, 3
The Best of BbWorld Webinar series for K-12 brings highlights of our 2009 Users Conference right to you.
For years, PA Learners Online struggled with meeting the needs of their diverse learners in an online environment. In order to solve this challenge, they successfully implemented a "custom style" of adaptive release which has been in place for two years. All of their students receive adapted course work geared towards their pace and learning style. Using adaptive release for multiple assignments can be a grade book challenge, but the way that they do it makes it as easy as 1,2,3.
Join Shannon Bucci, Technology Integration Teacher, PA Learners Online, as she describes this process and explains how they use adaptive release and other features of Blackboard and Wimba to adapt coursework for her K-12 students. The presentation will also include making tests come alive with voice, Wimba voice boards, adapting tests, and much more.
