A. Your school should have provided you with your school's dedicated URL, user name and password. Contact the Help Desk at your institution for help.
A. Your school's Information Technology team manages your school's specific Blackboard account. To get help that is specific to your institution, you need to contact your school's Help Desk.
A. If you're not sure how to reach your Help Desk, look for the technology office on your school's website or search the web for your school's name + Blackboard + help or support.
A. Because thousands of schools use Blackboard, and every school's use of the software is different, the best place for students to get help is through your school's Help Desk. A. Blackboard Mobile must be enabled by your institution before your campus app is accessible. Find out if your school has it.
A. If your school has enabled Blackboard Mobile Learn or Blackboard Mobile Central, you can download the appropriate app from your device's App Store. Find out if your school has it.

A. Activating your account is quick and easy via our website at www.blackboardengage.com by selecting "Sign In Here" in the top right. Your school will need to provide you with login credentials.

A student's name is a link to specific information about him/her: classes, sports, activities, etc. After you log on to your account, just click on your name and the online navigation becomes personalized to you. And by choosing "Combined Calendar" you can view the events from all of your classes and activities from one easy-to-view screen.
A. Blackboard Engage automatically links you to all of your children's web pages for their teachers and schools, even if they go to different schools. It's all one log in for you.
A. Blackboard Engage is a secure, password-protected system available anywhere internet access is available. If not available at home, you can log on to your Blackboard Engage account from work, a library, or an internet café, for instance.
A. While teachers manage their own class pages, typically you'll find class-specific news, homework assignments, calendar items (dates of quizzes and tests), plus other information like teacher availability, grade reports, and classroom expectations.
A. First, please know that our system is as secure as online banking. And although general news and information is available publicly via Blackboard Engage, any information related specifically to you (or your child, if you are a parent) — like grade reports, transcripts, and disciplinary reports — is password protected and visible only to you and your parents (though, in some cases, certain information can be restricted to parents only). Also, sibling information is not available to children.
A. Blackboard Engage offers email alerts to notify you when reports are posted, if you choose. We also have feature an emergency notification system for communicating urgent news.
