When “Doing More with Less” is an Opportunity to Think Differently

“Doing more with less” is the new mantra these days.  All of us are challenged in our professional lives to try to increase our productivity, reduce costs and still excel.  In education, this is more real than ever: students’ needs have not changed (academic success) but their expectations have (engagement and personalized learning).  And, at the same time, the world has changed dramatically.  Students have to be prepared for jobs and industries that don’t even exist yet.  Students have to learn how to learn, so that they can continually refresh and update their skills as the global context changes.
