Connect Contacts Building Block
Allows students to submit their preferred contact information directly into the Blackboard Learn environment. The data is then pushed in real-time to the Blackboard Connect™ platform. This portal allows messages to be delivered to recipients on the devices they prefer.
Connect Professor Notification Tool Building Block
Allows faculty to send customized messages within the Blackboard Learn environment to students in text/SMS, e-mail and text-to-speech (TTS). They have the option to choose from a list of enrolled students, and select preferred delivery modes.
Connect Message Gateway
Allows students to choose how they receive course alerts, including text/SMS, text-to-speech (TTS) voice and web dashboard options. Students receive automatic updates when course content, such as assignments, discussions or assessments, is updated. Blackboard Learn administrators can also send system-wide announcements via text/SMS and text-to-speech (TTS) voice messages to alert faculty and students regarding system availability and updates.
