  • Ability to create, store and view Blackboard Collaborate recordings
  • Ability to assign moderator and participant roles
  • Assign sessions to sections within Sakai
  • Sessions can be created for specific Sakai sites or for all sites

For Instructors & Staff

Schedule and deliver sessions using our Internet-based, real-time virtual classroom that includes best-in-class VoIP, shared whiteboards, PowerPoint import, public and private chat, application sharing, breakout rooms, session recording, and much more. Participants can launch a synchronous session directly from Sakai for a better user experience every time—regardless of computer platform or Internet connection speed. Plus, Sakai's calendar is automatically populated with each session as a course or user event.

For IT & Technical Staff

Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing integration for Sakai installs into your existing Sakai environment quickly and securely. It connects to the Blackboard Collaborate application you already host on your own server or as an ASP service with Blackboard Collaborate.

The Blackboard Collaborate web conferencing integration for Sakai 2.7 is available to both ASP and self-hosted customers. Your Sakai administrator can download the application from the Downloads section on the Blackboard Collaborate Support Portal. The account credentials for the Support Portal are provided with your order.
