Grand Rapids Community College, a large, urban, two-year college, has had a history of parking woes. Although our initial interest in implementing a campus transaction system was driven by the need to better manage our parking services, the overall improvements are a testimony to how a transaction system can reshape and greatly improve student services and business processes. Now able to provide parking to our community in a viable manner, we will share the benefits that have improved access and satisfaction to student services while also improving employee effectiveness, increasing revenue and reducing expenses and waste.
