General Manager, Blackboard Engage
As General Manager of Blackboard Engage, Justin Tan is responsible for the overall operations and management of Blackboard Engage, the Blackboard division providing K-12 websites and communications. Blackboard Engage supports over 20,000 schools with innovative learning technologies and enables meaningful online communication and collaboration for millions of students, teachers and parents throughout the K-12 community.
Prior to his role with Blackboard Engage, Justin served as General Manager of Blackboard Collaborate, as well as other executive positions within the Legal and Corporate Development functions at Blackboard. Prior to joining Blackboard, Justin was a corporate attorney focusing on venture capital, technology start-ups, public companies and M&A.
Justin earned degrees in engineering and law from the University of Toronto.
