Blackboard Offers K-12 Teachers Free Online Courses at National Educational Computing Conference

Blackboard Teacher Coursesites Enable 21st Century Virtual Learning
ATLANTA, GA, Jun 25, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- 28th Annual National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) 2007 -- Blackboard Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBB), a leading provider of educational enterprise software and services, announced today that it will extend a free, one-year Blackboard Teacher Coursesites(TM) license to all K-12 faculty who visit the Blackboard booth (#940) at NECC 2007. Blackboard Teacher Coursesites is a hosted online course enabling teachers to quickly and easily create a 21st century learning environment with online content, tests, discussion boards and multi-media learning instruments, among other tools.

The Blackboard(R) Learning Management Platform is used by more than 1200 school districts across nearly all states. In an effort to encourage increased e-Learning adoption in primary and secondary schools across the country, Blackboard is extending complimentary online courses to faculty members who visit the Blackboard booth at NECC, one of the largest educational technology conferences in the country. Blackboard Teacher Coursesites will provide the teacher community with a valuable e-Learning toolset without cost or set-up barriers.
