Athens State Selects Blackboard for Student and Faculty Tech Support, Service

WASHINGTON, April 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Athens State University has selected Blackboard Inc. to provide around-the-clock student and faculty support for their learning management system (LMS), the company announced today. The initiative will give students and faculty quicker access to a range of services to support the successful use of the institution's primary LMS, Blackboard Learn™.
Athens State recognized that student and faculty frustration can be high if important user requests are not resolved quickly. With Blackboard Student Services(SM), Athens State provides students with instant access to information through on-demand tools like Web tutorials and self-service portals.
